Sustainable Washcare Kit
Due to hygiene reasons, undies need to be washed everyday – otherwise laundry day procrastination could have saved water, detergent and energy making them last longer. However, we want you to love your new pieces for years to come and we know that proper care will extend the life of your underwear. On the other hand, we were alarmed to know that up to two-thirds of our undies’ carbon footprint occurs when you take it home and do the laundry! So, we designed this little kit which ensures that any damage to the fabrics as well as the environment is prevented while washing our undies. Sustainable Wash care for both!
Kit Content
Our Care Wash Kit contains a mild organic care soap; a bamboo stain removal brush with natural sisal bristles; a bamboo soap tray; and an organic mesh laundry bag.
Care Soap
The gently scented and nourishing natural Care Soap hand-made with love by a home based woman entrepreneur in Kolkata. Available in a refreshing lime fragrance, this soap is perfect for your undergarments that require a more delicate cleanse. Made with natural ingredients containing nourishing properties of Aloe Vera; Vegetable oils – which clean the fabric with optimum PH level, and Glycerine – which helps to maintain the fabric from wear and tear due to washing.
This soap bar is sustainably sourced, 100% organic and cruelty-free. Hand-made responsibly in Kolkata by a home-based woman soap-maker, each bar is unique and freefrom plastic and toxic chemicals.
Bamboo Soap Tray
A sustainable alternative to plastic soap trays and more durable than ceramic soap trays that are brittle.
Wash Bag
Our wash bag is specifically designed not only for your organic cotton undies from Wear Equal, but also undies of any other materials/brands with properties that can lead to micro-fibers being released when washed. Micro-fibres end up flowing with the laundry water into the water-bodies and causing huge environmental impact, especially to aquatic life. Using the bag is also a great way of prolonging the life of your undies by providing a barrier during the washing process.
Designed to protect your favorite basics with every wash, our 100% organic cotton are responsibly and ethically made in a Fair Trade and GOTS certified factory. Keeping in mind that they are of the perfect size to fit in your favourite undies for everyday wash.
Stain Removal Brush
Stain removal brush is the ideal tool for removing stains delicately. Rather than using sponges, washcloths, scrubs or your finger, the brush can be used to conveniently treat the target area without harming quality of the fabric by strong agitation.
The soap tray and brush are made under a special collaboration with The Happy Turtle.
